Travelling in London

London transport has several ways to pay for travel.

A Travelcard which allows a user to travel throughout London on buses, trains and trams currently costs £7.50 per day, starting after 9:30 on weekdays and any time at the weekends.

An Oyster card is a contactless card which you put money onto and then can pay much lower fares on buses and tubes - this is especially useful when travelling around Kingston.

See Transport for London for more information, as well as maps, timetables and a journey planner.

Airports

London has 4 airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted  and Luton.

Heathrow is about 30 minutes drive from Norbiton; Gatwick is a train journey of about 1 hour; Stansted and Luton are train or coach journeys  of about 2 hours.

We can arrange Taxi pickup if you wish. Please request this in the Comments space on the booking form and we will let you know the charge.
